Online Refund Policy:
If a payment was submitted in error or without your authorization, we will honor your request to cancel and refund the original transaction in full, provided the request is made within thirty (30) days of the original payment. For credit card payments, the thirty-day period begins from the transaction processing date. For payments made by check, the period begins from the date the check was written. We reserve the right to revise this policy at any time.

Auto Pay Terms:
Customers enrolled in Auto Pay should be aware of the following conditions:

  • A $1.50 processing fee applies to each Auto Pay transaction.
  • Auto Pay transactions are processed on the bill due date.
  • If you make a manual payment before the due date, your Auto Pay amount will reflect your updated account balance.
  • Certain account changes (including mailing address updates, property transfers, name changes involving trusts or life estates, and the addition of co-owners) will result in a new customer number, requiring re-enrollment in Auto Pay.

It is your responsibility to monitor and manage your Auto Pay settings, especially following any account changes.

Additional Payment Terms:

  • Any payments made in excess of your billed amount must be submitted by mail or in person.
  • You are responsible for managing any automatic or scheduled future payments made through this service.
  • If your financial institution returns a draft payment, Queen Anne’s County may assess a returned payment fee equal to the fee incurred by the County. You must immediately remit payment for the billing period plus the applicable fee by mail or in person.

Electronic Communication Agreement:
By using this service, you agree to receive future communications regarding your utility or special assessment account electronically (e.g., via email).

Queen Anne’s County reserves the right to terminate your use of this service at any time, for any reason.
